Hello again everyone! It's that time once again. We haven't had any complaints about this new contest format, so I think we'll be sticking with it for a while yet. Though, we'll have to figure out a good way to mix things up for Christmas, won't we? ;) We'll be putting the winners up sometime in the next 48 hours or so, and tickets will be sent out to all winners when that's done to make sure they don't miss that.

Remember, if you've got any comments you'd like to make about the format of these contests, or about anything else related to AnimeShinbun, please feel free to use this blog. We welcome all feedback. I'd especially like to hear some of your ideas for what we should do this Christmas, so please post those up if you've got them. Don't forget also to sign up for HAVA Labs ( http://labs.havamedia.com/)... where you can get early access to the new N4G, and catch some of the things in the works for AnimeShinbun.

Pretty much self-explanatory this one. Each and every comment you make on AnimeShinbun (regardless of if that's in a news story or blog) during the month of October will net you an entry in this competition. And to make things interesting...we'll give you entries for every tip you contribute as well! So no excuses for not contributing those extra stories now when you hit your news submission limit. ;)

BEST USER BLOG: 
You must post a User Blog in the month of October! There's no limit to how many wonderful User Blogs you can write and enter, anything you author here on AnimeShinbun during the month of October will be eligible. The winner will be chosen by myself and Lavalamp. What we'll be looking for is an interesting blog that sparks off conversation and interest amongst other users.

CONTRIBUTOR CONTEST:
How many stories can you submit? Every news story you submit on AnimeShinbun during the month of September will get you 1 entry, and we'll be picking 2 winners at random from those entries.

Prize: 2 winners - a $50 Amazon Gift Card each!

With all of our contests, you'll be disqualified if you pick up a restriction of any kind during the contest period. Comments with negative labels (Trolling, Off Topic, etc.), unresolved reported stories, etc, will not count to any competition.
In the interests of fairness, each entrant will only be eligible to win one prize per month. If your name comes up for multiple prizes, then we'll be awarding you the highest value one and redrawing the others.

Terms and Conditions
1. Competition is open to all AnimeShinbun users, except for employees of HAVAmedia and immediate relatives. Contests are not limited to the US/North America.
2. Closing date is 11:59 PM (American Eastern Standard Time), October 31st 2012.
3. In the event of unforeseen circumstances AnimeShinbun/HAVAmedia reserves the right to substitute prizes for alternatives of equal or greater value.
4. Prizes are not transferrable.
5. The winners of the competition will be notified by AnimeShinbun ticket on or before November 7, 2012.
6. Failure to reply to ticket notification within seven (7) days will result in forfeiture of prize.

Winners up, notifications have gone out. Even if you've won a prize before, please reconfirm your email in reply to that notification. Had a situation with a prize on another site where someone notified me of a change of address after their prize had already been sent, so I'm just being overly cautious. ^^;;

Haven't heard back from wishingW3L's ticket. If I don't hear back before I get home from my day job, when the 7 days should be up, I'll have to take that as forfeiture of prize.
