Serdar Yegulalp writes: "Yu Narukami’s parents have gone abroad for a year, and so he packs up his stuff and takes the train out to Inaba, a rural province where very little happens. There he’ll be living with his uncle Ryotaro (a local detective) and his young cousin Nanako, which translates into Yu and Nanako fending for themselves with lots of take-out while Ryotaro works late because of a rash of mysterious killings and disappearances about town."
