The first red band trailer for Spike Lee’s Oldboy went online today, giving fans of the original Korean film and Japanese manga a first look at the American remake/adaptation. The trailer’s kind of NSFW, and definitely not meant for anyone under 17.
You´re correct. This remake needs to be watched, and enjoyed for what it is, which is a remake of a masterpiece. It can´t be as good, yet it might be a good "adaptation" afterall.
