With Crunchyroll having simulcast the most recent season of Symphogear, they’re now filling in the blanks a bit with the debut of the first season of the series on the service. This season originally aired in 2012 and was simulcast by FUNimation as part of the rather limited deal with NicoNico at the time. FUNimation didn’t pursue further material from the series for streaming and it was also not picked up by Crunchyroll at the time. With the first season now available on the service, we’re expecting to see the second season some time in the near future.
