Anime for Dummies: What Starters Should Watch

So, you want to start watching anime but you don’t know where to start? Few can blame you. Anime is a rising medium in the entertainment industry. In fact, it’s so widespread, chances are you’ve been exposed to anime without realizing it. Many kids in the 90’s watched Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon without knowing it was anime they were watching. Pokemon served as a very common gateway as well and it shows how much anime can seep into someone’s life without them realizing it. So, what you want to do is start watching anime to the extent that hardcore fans watch, watch anime knowing it is anime, and watch anime being able to compare and contrast it to American animation or other animated shows of its type.

Instead of using death note for rime you should have used ghost in the shell stand alone complex. Most anime can be different genres like Psycho Pass, Action, Sci-Fi, Police, Psychological, while others can be Action, Drama, Sci-Fi, Super Power, Seinen as Gungrave. I have very large catalog of anime I also understand Japanese. I started with Akira it took me almost ten years to find an original copy. Anime fans just started out should listen to there friends who watch anime and read manga. Manga is just more detailed than the anime counterpart. Like in Bleach were never see the episodes of The Blood Warfare.

Black Lagoon, crime, mobster's a lot of killing
Blue Gender
Code Geass r1 and r2

just to name a few
