Buyers of the Japanese DVD volumes of the Sengoku Basara Two television anime series can apply for a bonus DVD with stereoscopic 3D anime footage. The Gekisō 3D Nippon Jūdan Sword Summit! ~Date-Sanada Tokusei Sōkō Rittai Gankyō Tsuki!~ special DVD will feature the sword fight/horse race between the warriors Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura, rendered with added new shots in stereoscopic 3D. The DVD will include "Date-Sanada Tokusei Sōkō Rittai Gankyō" — a tongue-in-cheek way of saying "special red-blue 3D glasses" in archaic Japanese.
