Che Guevara: A Manga Biography Review (’s Raymond Herrera reviews the recent manga biography from Penguin Books which tells the story of Argentinean Che Guevara, with illustrations by Chie Shimano and text by Kiyushi Konno.

“Che Guevara: A Manga Biography follows the story of the famous revolutionary from his early days in school all the way to his death in Bolivia.

While the manga isn’t as entertaining as others may be, mainly because it is a biography, it is still a good read with plenty of action and even some comedy to keep the reader interested, like how Alberto and Che continuously fall on the motorcycle during their first time on unpaved roads.

This is definitely a manga worth reading for those who would like to learn more about Ernesto Guevara and for those who would like to read something that tells the story of a real life revolutionary.”
