this is the original series from the Universal Century time-line, this and Zeta Gundam are easily the best Gundam series in the entire Gundam universe. And after watching them last year I just realized that every mecha series from Tekkaman Blade to Evangelion and Code Geass have heavily borrowed from them. Specially Evangelion with the use of newtype kids, drama and psychological issues. To call this series crap it's them same as crapping all over the mecha genre.
