Too bad most of the anime that come out now is garbage.

The Twelve Kingdoms and Jing: King of Bandits the best on the list. I'm still upset about Twelve Kingdoms not getting a sequel.

Who the hell is disagreeing with you? You're spot on. And as for 12K, I'm more upset about Fuyumi Ono putting the books on 'indefinite hiatus." They're WAY better than the other (very) mediocre stuff she's written.

But, damn, 10 years ago... not only was that the golden age for Gaming, but anime too? Azumanga Daioh, Ai yori Aoshi, Tenchi Muyo, Chobits, The Twelve Kingdoms, Jing: King of Bandits, etc. Hot damn.

And this year we've got... nothing of consequence.

The new anime kids are disagreeing with me. LOL. This year we do got the return of one of my favorite animes though Lupin III. I love the art style they kept in the show. I just dont understand today's anime. There is no diversity now. Just about all animes follow this formula. Dumb ass main character thats strong or a pussy main character that has common sense.

... you've got the new show by the Cowboy
Bebop creator, I've been hearing good things about Space Brothers, the new Lupin III series looks great, and there are a couple of other shows that could be pretty good...

Also, spring-season is already a success with me, after seeing the excellent 'Young Animator Project' anime Buta. Absolutely loved it!

I'm so glad the art style has changed for the better in the past 10 years.

If nothing else, there was bigger diversity 10 years ago. I haven't watched a lot of them, so I don't know how they stack up to todays shows.
