DC Comics Announces Digital Anime Inspired Superhero Comics

DC Comics has had some very good luck in selling the anime inspired figures over the last few years with the AME-COMI line and now they’re finally moving it into the next direction which is something that brings it all full circle in its own way. Starting in May, Ame-Comi Girls will go live as a digital book from the company every Monday as part of an overall line of digital-first comics that the company produces, essentially having new “issues” due out on a weekly basis per series but every business day of the week. DC Comics has expanded its digital offerings over the past year with the majority of its line available but also began the digital first weekly books at the beginning of the year and expanded recently with a Smallville Season 11 series.
