Adult Swim announces Rick and Morty: The Anime with Teaser Trailer
Rick and Morty have been a fan favorite since the crazy sci-fi cartoon aired on Adult Swim. Each episode is filled with the crazy adventures of Rick, a mad scientist, and Morty, his grandson. It was recently announced during the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 Adult Swim teased fans with the Rick and Morty: The Anime trailer. In the Rick and Morty: The Anime YouTube video, fans of the popular cartoon can watch a short interview with Director Takashi Sano. During this interview, Sano mentioned the upcoming anime with 10 episodes. Unfortunately, there has been no release date at the current time of writing.
Sano also mentioned he is an immense fan of the popular series and admits he feels pressure to produce a series worthy of his fellow fans. Sano also said his goal for the Rick and Morty: The Anime series is to combine all his favorite parts within the series to make up the 10 episodes. In doing so, he will also add a “unique Japanese twist.”
