The story occurs in the 21st century when magic has become a systematized technology. In First High School, students are separated into two groups based on their entrance exam scores. Those with high scores are placed into the “Bloom” First Course. In contrast, the “Weeds” will enter the Second Score.
The Irregular at Magic School follows the Shiba siblings. Miyuki is placed in Bloom for her exceptional magical talent, while Tatsuya is in Weeds. However, there’s more to Tatsuya than meets the eye. While he may be magically inept, he has extraordinary technological knowledge.
