Yoru, also known as the War Devil, states that Pochita can bring back the Devils he has eaten. To do this, he must puke them out. We also learn that Pochita can erase historical things such as the Holocaust, Nazis, and various Nuclear Weapons. This is also the reason why Yoru wants Pochita. Since Pochita can erase certain concepts, the Devils associated with those concepts will disappear.

With that said, it’s completely understandable why Devils are absolutely terrified of the Chainsaw Devil. If they are eaten, they are erased, and when they are eaten, the concept of them is erased. That means the embodiment of them will no longer exist. Hence the reason why Yoru is trying to find the Chainsaw Man.
