But, of course, he couldn’t do this alone; thus, during the Shibuya Incident, Kenjaku conspired with Mahito, Jogo, Hanami, and Choso to seal Satoru.

The Prison Realm is a cursed object that looks like a cube with eyes. It has a Front Gate to seal the person and a Back Gate to free the person.

First, for the Prison Realm to activate, the target must be within four meters of the cursed object for the object to trap the target. In addition, the target must be kept in the radius for minutes worth of time in their brain. Basically, what may feel like an instant on the outside will feel like a minute within your brain.
Satoru, of course, could flee without getting caught by the Prison Realm. However, Kenjaku, possessing Geto’s body, possibly did the unthinkable. Kenjaku revealed his brainy self to Satoru for the first time since possessing Geto. Due to this instant, when Satoru was distracted, the Prison Realm was able to get ahold of him.
