Date A Live has a new Teaser Visual for the upcoming season
Date A Live is one of the more slightly well-known harem anime, alongside names like Nisekoi and The Quintessential Quintuplets. But, as you can expect, with harem anime comes those weird nuances that definitely let you know it’s a harem anime. And with Date A Live season 5 in production, you can expect more of them. But, unfortunately, we do not have any information about when it will be aired.
At the current time of writing, Date A Live has four anime seasons to its name. Derived from the popular Light Novel, first serialized from March 19th, 2011, to March 19th, 2020, the Date A Live anime is slowly reaching completion.
If you’re new to Date A Live, we’ll break it down for you. The story follows 16-year-old Itsuka Shidou, who lives alone with his sister Kotori. About three decades ago, a hundred million people fell victim to a disaster known as Spatial Quakes; since then, humanity has built various countermeasures to mitigate the damage.
One day, Shidou, ignoring the warning signs for a preemptive Spatial Quake, gets caught up in one (obviously). However, he manages to survive the blast, where he meets a mysterious girl known as a Spirit. Spoiler Warning, these Spirits are the reason for the Spatial Quakes. However, the only reason there are Spatial Quakes is that these Spirits will need to have their powers sealed (with a certain intimate action). So! Follow Shidou as he accumulates multiple waifus to fight off the Anti-Spirit Team.
